I was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and had always thought about pursuing a career in theatre. When I started studying Romance languages and cultures at the university I never actually performed any theatre, but focused on Italian sixteenth century theatre as a philologist. Now I live part time in the Netherlands, part time in Rome, Italy, where I work as a tour guide and travel back and forth to Prague where finally a dream came true: to perform on stage!
